In a hammock, you sway from side to side. With a swing, however, you move from front to back. The direction is hardly important, because the destination is just the same: You’re trying to go absolutely nowhere, and in no great hurry!
At Nags Head Hammocks, our continued quest to refine the fine art of doing nothing while happily going nowhere is what led us to direct our innovative hammock-crafting skills to creating outdoor swings. Supple, knot-free, hand-woven rope in an interlocking lattice pattern is the perfect cradle for contentment, and the cottony-soft fibers of polyester and DuraCord® just feel great against the skin.
Through the years we’ve also added pillowy fabric seating, both supporting and cradling you in your movement to and fro, all designed to lull you into that perfect state of relaxation.
Frame all of that with hand-varnished Southern white oak and then outfit it with some of the toughest hardware going, and the resulting line of alluring swings was truly born to bear the Nags Head Hammocks name.
