Patterned after our Nags Head Hammocks oak classic, our Durawood Barstool stands at the ready to seat you in soothing style. Its rust-resistant stainless-steel hardware, set off against the stark white of the Durawood poly-lumber, accentuates this hardy chair's handsome flair while also bringing an additional boost in stability. The foldable seat makes for easy storage.
The Durawood Folding Barstool comes with either DuraCord® rope or soft-spun polyester rope, both made for prolonged weather exposure, and resistant to rot, mold and mildew, yet with a softness to rival cotton. DuraCord® is also incredibly resistant to abrasion, staining and fading; there is, in fact, no more colorfast rope on the market today.
We offer soft-spun polyester rope in bright-white and DuraCord® in your choice of six handsome hues: Oatmeal, Tan, Mocha, Meadow, Coastal Blue and Navy Blue.
Available in your choice of eight colors, the Furniture Pillow included with our Durawood Folding Barstool is made with the cottony synthetic Sunbrella®, with an all-weather foam center. Sunbrella® the most established, best known outdoor fabric on the market, is not only resistant to rot, mold, mildew and staining, but is tremendously colorfast as well.
Durawood Bar Table
Stay with us here: Our Durawood Bar Table is tough, tough, tough, and atypically handsome. It's a bit classy, even in casual situations, and yet perfectly informal when you want it to be. You can make a big mess of it — it's an outdoor table, for heaven's sake; stuff's gonna get spilled all over it — but it cleans up superbly, like debonair-and-dashing Rick Blaine in his iconic nightclub in Casablanca.
Also, it a bar-style table. And Bogie sure did love a bar …
The Durawood Folding Bar Table is 40 inches tall, with a tabletop that's quite large, measuring 30 inches by 33 inches. It pairs wonderfully with our Durawood Folding Barstools and includes a center hole for an umbrella (sold separate).
We often describe Durawood as "hurricane-proof," and for good reason. Manufactured from densely compressed recycled consumer plastic like old milk jugs that's been sterilized for safety and to eliminate impurities, the resulting rigid, heavy material looks just like painted wood. Unlike most building composites, though, Durawood contains no waste-wood fiber, so it not only won't absorb water, but it also won't splinter, crack, rot or attract termites. It also never needs paint, stain or any other kind of sealant, yet holds up to vigorous rains, salt spray, extreme temperatures and high winds, making it the perfect Outer Banks furniture material.
Stainless-steel hardware further boosts both handsome good looks and uncommon durability.
Despite the advanced weatherability of a Nags Head Hammocks product, we do always recommend storing it in an enclosed dry place away from harsh chemicals and foraging wildlife during prolonged bad weather and other protracted periods when it's going unused, to ensure its longest possible life.
Frankford Beach Umbrella
You put your trust in lifeguards to help keep you safe at the pool or on the beach. Well, lifeguards all over the world put their trust in our durable umbrella to keep their own skin protected from too much harmful sun. Because this umbrella can take what nature dishes out — this is sun and rain protection to handle our bowl-you-over barrier-island winds!
Made from all-weather Solution dyed acrylic canopy, the best known, most established outdoor fabric available today, our big sun-blocker gets re-tested daily beside our stores out on these blustery barrier islands. If this umbrella can hold together here, then you can trust it on your own patio or at poolside, or on your own next trip to the beach — and by beach, we hope that'll be here on our beloved Outer Banks!
Solution dyed acrylic; is not only resistant to rot, mold, mildew and staining, but is also amazingly colorfast, in addition to being cottony-soft.
