Maybe it's the vivid Royal Blue color, like you scooped out a slice of OBX sky on a perfect cloudless Spring day. Or maybe it's the intense contours of the hammock bed itself, like you stuck all those missing clouds you just stole from the sky inside cottony soft fabric, and stitched them into plush connecting pillows.

The two layers of our Royal Blue Tufted Hammock are solution-dyed acrylic Sunbrella® and DURACORD® fabric that are highly durable and resistant to rot, mold, mildew, staining and fading; all while remaining as soft as cotton.

These two lock-stitched synthetic fabrics sandwich a thick center of plush fiberfill that's made from recycled soda bottles. This recycled filler is a nonabsorbent material that allows water to drain through and provide quick drying.

Our Tufted Hammocks' pillowy contours come courtesy of eight well-placed brass-plated rolled-rim steel grommets, which have the added function of keeping rainwater from pooling in the hammock bed.

The hammock bed itself is offset on each end by thick Cumaru wood spreader bars that are known to naturally age into a beautiful silver grey color without losing it's durability.

Hanging chains and hardware are made from rust-resistant galvanized steel for added support.

Our Royal Blue Tufted Hammock also includes a matching attachable trapezoid-shaped tufted pillow with the the same pillowy center of recycled fiberfill.

Despite the advanced weatherability of a Nags Head Hammock, we do always recommend storing it in an enclosed dry place away from harsh chemicals and foraging wildlife during prolonged bad weather and other protracted periods when it's going unused, to ensure its longest possible life.
