We don't just mean that sitting in it, and swaying in it, will whisk your worries away — though it can, and it will. We also mean that the rope is all-weather and all-season, and the DURAWOOD® frame will never need more than a wash with soap and water. No cracking, no chipping, no fading, no staining, no mold and no mildew. No need to paint or varnish or treat for insect pests. No chance of it ever blowing away in strong winds.

The DURAWOOD® Cedar Deluxe Double DURACORD® Rope Swing comes with your choice of two synthetic-rope varieties, soft-spun polyester or DURACORD®, both of them manufactured for prolonged weather exposure, and to be resistant to rot, mold and mildew, yet with a softness to rival cotton. DURACORD® is also resistant to abrasion, staining and fading; there is no more colorfast rope currently available, in fact.

Our DURACORD® rope comes in 10 handsome hues: White, Oatmeal, Tan, Mocha, Meadow, Coastal Blue, Navy Blue, Heirloom Pine, Heirloom Mocha, and Heirloom Navy.

This bountiful swing's two outside armrests each include a built-in cup-holder, to make taking it easier that much easier still. Two foam drink Huggies are included, in a choice of five colors.

Hanging chains are rust-resistant galvanized steel while stainless-steel hardware further boosts handsome good looks and uncommon durability.

DURAWOOD® itself is made from densely compressed recycled consumer plastic like old milk jugs that's been sterilized for safety and to eliminate impurities. Our Cedar color looks uncannily like real wood, though unlike most building composites, DURAWOOD® contains no waste-wood fiber, so it not only won't absorb water, but it also won't rot, splinter, crack or attract termites. It also never needs stain or any other kind of sealant, yet holds up to vigorous rains, salt spray, extreme temperatures and high winds, making it the perfect Outer Banks furniture material.

Despite the advanced weatherability of a Nags Head Hammocks product, we do always recommend storing it in an enclosed dry place away from harsh chemicals and foraging wildlife during prolonged bad weather and other protracted periods when it's going unused, to ensure its longest possible life.
